How to Join

Senior pastors and board chairs who are committed to an extraordinary one-year relationship with peers from other Very Large Churches (800 to 1,800 weekend attendance) are invited to apply for admission into a Barnabas Church Mentoring Group.

The program is for those congregations that have successively broken through the 800 attendance barrier, but are not yet megachurches (over 1,800), or not sure they want to grow beyond this size.

Typically, only about two percent of churches in any given metropolitan area have a worship attendance over 800 on a weekend. Senior pastors and board chairs who qualify to participate in a Barnabas Church Mentoring Group are, indeed, a very select group. They will thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the year-long relationship with their like-minded peers as they explore God’s calling on their lives and the life of their churches.
